124 Arhat Vimalacandra (Self-Pure)

A person with abundant wealth is far inferior to one with noble inner cultivation. Everyone has desires, but do not harbor delusions when moral cultivation is lacking. One must constantly temper oneself and improve moral cultivation; only then can one rise swiftly to achieve great things.

For those who receive this verse, one has strong desires but neglects moral cultivation. One should know that if a person wants to gain something or achieve great things, they must first perfect their humanity, otherwise, they will accomplish nothing.
