217 Arhat Nirdaśabhāva (Eliminating Afflictions)
The hardest thing to do in life is to be muddled, to care too much about honor and disgrace. Since one knows that most human hearts are not pure, and deceit and harshness are everywhere, it is better to seek nothing, to be a muddled person to ensure one's peace and family harmony.
For those who receive this verse, one faces too many worries. One should know that in adversity, one should be more open-minded. If one worries too much and cannot extricate oneself, one should change their way of living. It is not wrong to immerse oneself in flowers and moonlight.
