254 Arhat Vīryācala (Mountain of Diligence)
Simple food and drink can fill the stomach and warm the heart; a seven-foot plot of barren land is enough to settle down. People are born naked, with no attachments to life or death; why then crave more and toil bitterly?
For those who receive this verse, one should strictly refrain from greed and there is no need to toil bitterly everywhere. One should be content with the present and enjoy contentment, not coveting luxury and extravagance, and not exhausting oneself for superficial gains.
