279 Arhat Pratibhāna (King of Eloquence)

Time flies like water, years pass swiftly. There is no need to lament one's idleness. Just as flowers bloom only in specific seasons, your diligent labor will also yield results at the appropriate time.

For those who receive this verse, one has accomplished nothing, but should not therefore give up effort. One should still work diligently. Only when your efforts accumulate to a certain degree will results be seen. Success also requires certain opportunities, so you should wait patiently.
