306 Arhat Saṅghāti (Saṅghāti)

Being a person should not be like the splendid spring flowers of March, outwardly beautiful but very short-lived. Good years pass easily; one should seize the time to develop a career. Heaven rewards diligence is indeed a profound truth.

For those who receive this verse, one is vain and superficial. Outwardly beautiful things are often harmful. If a person only focuses on appearance without cultivating inner qualities and working diligently to develop a career, and acts superficially, they will ultimately achieve nothing.
