324 Arhat Dīpaṃkara (Chief of Lamps)

Do not lament the unpredictable changes of fortune. When fortune arrives, everything goes smoothly, and one is beloved by others; when fortune departs, everything goes awry, and one becomes penniless. In fact, Heaven is fair; good and bad luck are subtly predetermined.

For those who receive this verse, one's current situation is not as smooth as before, and there are many complaints in one's heart. In fact, there is no need to complain. The changes in fortune are natural. One should face both prosperity and decline calmly. With such a mindset, life will ultimately be joyful and worry-free.
