353 Arhat Āryadeva (Joy without Attachment)
Pure and cold, like the bright moon that clouds cannot obscure; ardent and passionate, like the warm blood flowing through the body. The coldness of the moon and the warmth of blood have little connection. Do not easily speak of the many grievances and complaints in your heart.
For those who receive this verse, one may currently be experiencing some grievances, and one's good intentions and kind deeds are not understood. It is normal that in the world, people are rarely understood. There is no need to complain. Endurance leads to success. If one can therefore cultivate an open mind and a magnanimous character, enduring for a while, success is hopeful, and great things are within reach. Why bother contending over temporary gains and losses?
