354 Arhat Candana (Moon Cover)

Like a tiny mustard seed planted in the soil, it can grow into a towering tree reaching the clouds. A little sweat from diligent effort can yield a heavy harvest. There is planting to have harvest, and effort to have reward.

For those who receive this verse, one should be diligent in effort and courageous in advancement. One should know that great achievements start from small beginnings, and expecting immediate rewards from effort is unrealistic. Be down-to-earth, and a harvest will always come, just sooner or later. If one is eager for quick success, impetuous and anxious, one may end up empty-handed.
