359 Arhat Sadhuvihara (Sādhuvihārī)
The sailing ship to save sentient beings is about to set sail, and numerous Dharma instruments are sounding loudly. How are the sufferings of sentient beings to be relieved? Take one step forward, and you can board that ship that crosses the sea of suffering and reaches the other shore.
For those who receive this verse, one's mind is currently distracted with many ideas, unable to decide. Ideals are the premise of a brilliant life, not the result. Think and act, act and think. The unity of knowledge and action is especially valuable in "action." As the verse says, take one step forward, and the sea of suffering can be crossed, and the other shore can be reached.
