397 Arhat Saṃprasāda (Joyful Faith)
Human blessings and misfortunes are cultivated from past karmic conditions. If everything goes smoothly in this life, without disasters or hardships, one should still do more good deeds and accumulate virtue to cultivate blessings for the next life. In this way, even when in bad luck, there will eventually be good rewards, and one will be able to navigate situations skillfully and receive help from others.
For those who receive this verse, one's current life situation is good, things go smoothly, and people are kind. However, misfortune lurks behind fortune, and fortune hides in misfortune. Do not forget misfortune when in good fortune. Do more good deeds and charity, only then can blessings flow continuously and last long.
