418 Arhat Atiśaya (Transcending the Ordinary)

Food, clothing, and daily necessities are essential for human beings, so everyone needs money. But a noble person loves wealth and acquires it righteously, while a petty person resorts to trickery and plunder, which will surely bring evil consequences.

For those who receive this verse, one should rectify their mind and cultivate their character, being vigilant against external temptations disturbing their mind. In life, material wealth is the foundation of survival. In this regard, there is no one in the world who does not seek profit. However, if one seeks profit by violating righteousness, one would rather sacrifice oneself for righteousness. If one exhausts their mind and seeks profit by unscrupulous means, acquiring wealth without regard for morality, they will eventually have a bad day. Be cautious, be cautious.
