454 Arhat Kṣāntisamādhi (Practicing Patience and Compassion)

Do not care too much about ups and downs, promotions, or demotions. Learning from history and not being moved by temporary honor or disgrace is the quality of a hero. After countless trials, one possesses extraordinary abilities, and can sing along the way, rising step by step.

For those who receive this verse, one must have experienced many ups and downs in life, joys and sorrows of promotion and demotion. But one is broad-minded and can calmly face them, unperturbed by favor or disgrace, forging a character of steel and iron, never yielding. Now, all hardships have finally come to an end, and a turning point has arrived. From now on, the path will be smooth, and success will be within reach.
