498 Arhat Cūḍaka (Cūḍaka)
Buddhism believes that all things in the world are composed of earth, water, fire, and wind, and everything, including the human body, is empty. This is "form is emptiness." And if these "four great elements" disperse, they return to nothingness. This is "emptiness is form." The lotus emerges from mud unstained; this symbolizes noble character. If the human heart can be like this, what cannot be achieved?
For those who receive this verse, one's thoughts are impure, with evil intentions, and lacking in compassion. If a person treats the world with an evil heart, their own heart will not find peace. You should discard evil thoughts and do more good deeds to achieve your wishes.
