081 Arhat Pūrṇa (Enduring Past Karma)

Since ancient times, later generations surpass earlier ones, and spring flowers and autumn moons will also pass. Time is short, and life easily grows old; there is no need to lament one's idleness in old age.

For those who receive this verse, one feels powerless in matters, always feeling at risk of being eliminated. One should not be absorbed in past achievements and glories, nor should one sigh at being neglected by life. It is advisable to maintain a calm mind and not demand too much of oneself.
